Hundreds of thousands of travelers pass through U.S. airports each year. Until now, the traveling public was unable to obtain medical assistance at an airport or railway station; however, with the advent of the 9K Health Resource System Medical Kiosk, travelers and airport employees now have the opportunity to speak directly with a physician.
The CSI 9K Health Resource System Medical Kiosk features a sophisticated personal health record management system. Airport employees are able to create a Personal Health Record system complete with up-to-date biometric measures such as blood pressure and weight acquired directly from the patient kiosk. Any time a health issue arises for an employee, he or she has the opportunity to speak with a board certified physician via the health care kiosk. The doctor in turn will have real-time access to the employee’s personal health record for reference. After the consultation period has taken place, the patient receives a diagnosis, and if needed a prescription, thereby remaining on the job and reducing absenteeism.
